Xbox One home screen glitch

My xbox one is glitching on the home screen. If I go to the menu, I get stuck on the sign in page. If I attempt to scroll to the right, it flashes and goes back to sign in. I've tried using different remotes and they do the same thing. Same thing happens
on the home screen at the top where you would scroll to mixer, community, entertainment or store.

I was having an issue where pressing the xbox button would dim the screen but not bring up the menu. I did the hard reset and it fixed it but now it's doing this. On a console that's only a few months old, all updates and always online.

I have the same issue. Is it splitting everything in duplicates making it look like a crappy 3d almost?

At first I thought the problem was the HDMI cord that came with the system when the home screen started flickering and flashing in many bars of blue and white, barely making it able to see the screen. I tried my other HDMI cord and it did the same thing.
Oddly, when I clicked A to start a game, the problem went away and I can see the game perfectly. UNTIL I got back to the home screen, or if a notification pops up, or I try to do anything with the snap-app function. What the heck is happening?

 

Cancel this. Turns out my controller had dropped and the left bumper broke and got stuck. Turned it off and used a different controller and it works now.
