    Xbox One Headsets aren’t working


    I have 2 different Xbox One Stereo headsets. One you can hear other players but they can’t here you and the other can not hear or be heard. Both were bought in February of 2018. I have hard reset both Xbox’s, updated controllers, have an open NAT, changes
    settings, resigned into profiles. Please advise.

    our headset guide to see if there are any steps that can get this working again for you. If you still have issues, we also recommend checking out our
    controller sync guide, basically, we're thinking it's strange that these issues are happening with two different headsets and we're wondering if the common issue may be with the controller. Be sure to let
    us know how that goes, and also, be sure to check the audio mixer in the settings tab.

    Make sure the headset is compatable with the Xbox. Make sure your console settings aren’t wonky, they could be prohibiting the mic from working. Is it just the mic that isn’t working or the headset all together?

    We deleted the profile and loaded it again. Now the headsets aren’t working on our Xbox. They work on others. Tried all our controllers. I am not sure why we keeping having so much trouble. You have been very helpful though.

    Why is the allow passthrough setting not being saved on xbox?

    This feature is designed for media playback apps and doesn’t apply to games.

    Not all apps support the feature.

    The feature is relevant on all Xbox One and newer consoles.

    The feature is currently only activated for HDMI audio setups. Optical setups aren’t currently supported.

    This feature is disabled by design if a headset is in use, whether it is a wired or wireless headset.
