    Xbox one headset


    Hi,

    Son has an xbox one and a wired turtle beach ear force recon headset. All been working fine.

    Two weeks ago intermittently the mic wouldn't work (possible lagging issues). Last night the mic stops working all together. The headset works fine both speakers and mic when connected to a laptop. The controller its connected to is running the latest
    firmware. I have powered off the xbox, removed the brick connection from the back and left for 15 mins.

    Problem continues. Only error is that the local cache is full - surprising given the powering off I have completed.

    There is no visible sign of damage. Could it really be the audio connection in the controller itself is faulty? Only other thing I can think of is to have one of his friends bring their controller over for testing.

    Any ideas pls?

    I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

    Xbox One Stereo Headsets    . And, both headsets work well, with and without the
    Stereo Headset Adapters    , on all our Xboxes.

    Actually the OP is the one suggesting he wear his XBox One headset at the same time as wearing his Polk headset.



    I'm the one suggesting he use his standard headset until they update the XBox ONE to work with the older expensive headsets or until they release new expensive headsets for the ONE.
