    Xbox One Headset Issues!!!


    Headset fails to pickup my voice. Tried all recommended trouble shooting and tests yet still nothing. Moving the wire at the base of the connection brings it on intermittently, very poor quality for a product that cost me over £450, what's more I'm unable
    to contact xbox support for some reason and the the call back option will not recognise my phone number. Very frustrating! Any suggestions would be great as I've seen that this issue is very common already, doesn't look good!

    Xbox One Headset Issues!!!

    You can register your console on the Xbox support website. Then you can request a replacement headset from there without even having to talk to them and you don't have to send them your broken headset!

    Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the headset and the mute icon on the home screen on the Xbox.

    I recommend to take a look at the following articles:


    If the issue persists, try the Microsoft Headset Adapter to help make the 3rd party headset compatible with the Xbox One. Currently our team is working on a fix to help align 3rd party headsets.

    I am about to lose it

    Third party companies produce headsets for Xbox one if the headset is a third party product you would have to contact that company for warranty issues. Only if the headset is an actual xbox produced item would it be an xbox issue.

    Thanks for the update with the issue with the headset on the Xbox One Controller.
    I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting articles:




    If the problem persists:

    • Try your Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working.
    • Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues.
    • Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
      updating the first controlleragain.
