    Whats going on. So i have a black xbox one headset thats made by xbox. When im in party chat everyone in the chat hears their own echo. I dont. I hear eveything perfect actually. So it seems as if the audio that comes out of my ear sets my boom mic picks
    it up and sends it right back out to the chat. So i have lowered the volume on my ear sets but then i cant hear the game audio which i need for “footsteps”. Ive also updated my controller and tried the headset on another controller and even cleaned the controller
    but still the same issue. Any advice? Thanks.

    Basic xbox one turtle beach headset.

    I think the headset jack is broken on my elite controller so I decided to use one of those black adapters.... But it won't allow me to change audio volume.

    1. headseats volume.

    2. mix headsets.

    3. microphone monitoring.

    There you can fix the problem.
