    Xbox One has destroyed my Fallout Disc


    I was playing Fallout 4 when suddenly my game stopped, I tried restarting it several times to no avail. I uninstalled and tried re-installing but every time the installation has got stuck at 89%. I took the disc out to check it and I have found 2 perfectly
    circular scratches all the way around it.

    What should I do this is one of my favourite games and I cannot afford it re-buy it.

    Hey, my friend is looking to sell me his Fallout 4 disc which he has already downloaded onto his Xbox one. Would I be able to download it on my xbox and play it; does it just require the disc to play?

    XBox 360 Destroyed my disc

    That happened to me, too. I bought game in other country, but anyways, they will not return you the game. Xbox One has destroyed my Fallout Disc :)

    Why does it need internet to install?

    Fallout New Vegas is less than 6gb... and it installs just fine from disc on 360. but xbox one has to use from internet to install. makes no sense.

    Here's my solution if you haven't yet.

    -Remove Fallout New Vegas disc from Xbox 360 tray

    -Place Fallout 3 disc in Xbox 360 tray

    -Success

    Question about game of year editions.

    Yea I get the code part, but say for example Fallout 3 and New Vegas GOTY editions come with 2 discs, one for the game itself, and the other has all the dlc on it. I'm asking if I install the content from the second disc that has the dlc on it, will it be attached to my account.

    DLC 360 on One

    I have a fallout 3 problem myself. I have fallout 3 GOTY, my game disc does not read well on the one but the 360 it reads fine. the dlc disc of fallout 3 is fine and can read on the one.

    Because I preordered fallout 4 I got fallout 3 game itself for download but no dlc with it so I put in the dlc disc and the console installed the dlc no problem. I run the game and check downloads and none of the dlc shows up at all not even when I load
    the game but it's on my game manager as installed...

    This is a reported issue with the Fallout 3 GOTY second disc, I would suggest to go back to the retailer to exchange your copy for a new one.

    To verify the replacement disc is working when you load all Fallout 3 you will be met with a notification that Broken Steel has been added and the level cap has been raised to 30.
