Xbox one guide keeps popping up.

Even when i turn off all the controllers it still pulls up the guide. Ive tried different ones too. Then it restarts or turns off by itself. All of these are problems that happened after the guide started popping up.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the guide menu causing performance issues on your Xbox One console.

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Hey there,

I'd recommend powering down all controllers, then performing a Power Cycle of the console.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Do you have a Kinect?

If so this can also cause odd things to happen like the guide opening if it picks up your TV audio.

Hi there!

Are you sure there isnt more than one controller connected when you have your console on? Maybe a friend or family member is messing with you?
