    Xbox One Green Tint Screen

Turned on my Xbox One today to find a green tint constantly on the screen. I’ve tried power cycling the console, switching HDMI cables and HDMI ports in my TV but none have worked. What could it be?

    :)

Does the Xbox still show a tinted picture when you hook it up to a different TV?

If the picture appears normal, then I'm thinking this could be an HDR-related issue. Back on your regular TV set, go to the Xbox display settings: Xbox menu > Settings > Display & Sound > Video output.

    • In the "display" column, check that your resolution is normal to what your TV supports.
    • In "Video modes" under the "Advanced" column, if either option is available to select, toggle "YCC 4:2:2" and/or "Allow HDR". See if it helps remove the green tinting.
    • In "Video fidelity & overscan" under the "Advanced" column, "Overrides" should generally be set to "Auto-detect". Video fidelity should be at "24 bits per pixel (8-bit)" for non-HDR TVs, or "30 bits per pixel (10-bit)" for HDR TVs (that support the HDR10
profile). I believe the "36 bits per pixel (12-bit)" option is for Dolby Vision TVs, but this is an uncommon setting. "Color space" should be set to "Standard" for TVs ("PC RGB" is for computer monitors).

If it appears with a green tint on another TV, then this may indicate a damaged HDMI port. Does jiggling the HDMI connector affect the picture for better or for worse? For damaged HDMI ports, the system will need to be
    sent in for repair.

I just tried on a different TV and it works fine on it. But the setting on my usual one in the display settings are all set to what you’re saying. I don’t have access to anything except “50 Hertz” in the video modes area

XBOX ONE S blu ray player app problems after update from 04/26/2017 green tinge

Can you verify that it isn't the projector?

Uninstall the app and then reinstall. Does the green tint appear on a regular screen, or is it just on the projector?

    Xbox one green tint

Try using a different HDMI cable or a different HDMI socket on your TV. If that doesn't work, try a different TV. If it still doesn't work, then it could be an issue with the console, and will need to be repaired.
