Xbox One - Green Login Screen to No Signal via HDMI

Will an Xbox One work with and HDMI wireless transmitter receiver? Just trying to find a solution to my issue.

The console is connected directly to the TV. Is there a way to bypass the HDMI output to the TV by using an USB/HDMI adapter? I am just trying to exhaust all ideas.

From what I've seen, these type of issues are generally caused by a hardware malfunction around the HDMI port to the point where the operating system cannot load up the programs and you will be left with a black screen. Plugging into a surge protector has
been known to lead to these specific issues over time since the console has it's own protection in the power supply.

You can try to bring up the console Troubleshooter from startup and attempt to factory reset the console or even try an

offline system update. An offline system update requires:

• A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port.
• A USB flash drive with a minimum 4 GB of space formatted as NTFS.

To bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

From the startup troubleshooter you can factory reset the Xbox or plug in the USB with the extracted OSU files and try the solution.

If the start up troubleshooter doesn't come up, then you will need to send the console in for a repair.
