    XBOX ONE Games


    So my boyfriend was playing Resident Evil 4 offline. He stopped that night cut it off like he was supposed to and the next day he went to play the game and it's telling him he needs to connect to XBOX Live to continue. He's been playing offline for a few
    weeks and you don't have to play this game online so does anyone have any ideas as to why it's doing this. It's doing this on all the games he tries now and all of our games can be played offline. The Xbox was just updated too because that's what I thought
    was wrong but once I updated it it's still popping up that message.

    Hey there MetalTadpole868.

    Does your boyfriend have your Xbox One set as their home console? Be sure that the owner of the games have it set correctly, this will allow all players to access the games while offline.

    Xbox 360 to Xbox One

    You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!

    There are two different versions of the same game as decided by the game developer; one for xbox 360 and the other for xbox one. You need the xbox one version of the game to play it for xbox one.
