Xbox One Games - Work on US Console?

Hi,

I'm moving to the US in March and leaving my Xbox One console with my ex for our kids, however i have quite a few games that I can't leave as they are 18 rated and my kids are nowhere near old enough to play them. I'm intending on buying a new Xbox One
as soon as I get settled in the US, but was wondering will UK games work on a US Xbox One? I can find plenty of people asking about US games on UK Xbox One (and they work). Would it be right to assume the same can be said for the other way round?

Will US Black Ops work on UK Xbox One?

Im heading to the US in a few days and i want to pick up the new Call of Duty Blacks Ops III, but i have a UK xbox one. does anyone know if a US Black Ops game would work in my UK Console, without any issues with multiplayer or servers? Thanks

Yes it will. As long as you login to your account in the UK correctly, it will work

Xbox One disc games will work on any Xbox One console. Unlike the Xbox 360, the Xbox One is region free. The only discernable issue you may encounter is re-downloading digital content. Once you change your account region from the UK to the U.S, some content
may not be re-downloadable because you originally purchased it in the UK. The same may occur when you return to the United Kingdom. This may not be the case with all content though, I'm just making you aware.

All you need to do is buy a new U.S console and install your UK purchased games. You can use the same Gamertag, but to download from the Xbox Store, you'll need a U.S account. So either migrate your account to the U.S or create a new one.

All Xbox One games work on all Xbox One consoles. There are no Xbox One X exclusives. The 'Enhanced' experience only applies if you are using the Xbox One X console.

Series x consoles are NOT xbox ones

They ate just xbox series x or s

It's to avoid confusion xbox one games are compatible with xbox one all versions except for disk games on digital and can use hdds

Vs series consoles all digital series content work on series consoles

But disk games work only on disk consoles and next gen storage

You are using the Xbox One version of the game aren't you? If you are trying to play the Xbox 360 version of the game on your Xbox One, then it will not work, as the game is not compatible on the console.
