    Hello,

    Recently I've aquired an Xbox One gamepad and I was hoping to play using it along with one other, non xbox controller. Apparently, every time I plug in that other controller the Xbox one stops working and starts blinking as if it lost connection. I can't get it to work no matter what I try and the Xbox pad starts working only after I disconnect the other controller first.

    Can anyone help with this? I may be missing something obvious.

    Exists the possibility that this other controller is the one that's causing the problems.

    What controller is this non-xbox controller? Is a generic one?

    In the meantime tell me:

    Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

    Did you tried updating the Xbox one controller firmware?

    Did you tried connecting a different controller to see if something similar happens ? (I mean, instead of this non-xbox controller)

    Yes Xbox wireless adapter, and yes I am using Steam.

    I managed to figure out what the problem was, it appears USB ports on the front of my PC are not 100% fine (unstable voltage of something). When connecting one controller to the front panel and one in the back, directly to the motherboard it worked, so the issue is resolved

    Do you mean the Xbox wireless adapter?

    And, may I know if you have a re-mapping controller program installed in your PC? (Like Steam or DS4Windows)
