    I do not understand why we can no longer put a disc in that we (on release) pay £60 for, and play it straight away. Why now for example with Halo 5 do I have to install the whole game on the ridiculously small storage that comes with these garbage consoles,
    and once that is done... we are forced to install a 55GB update!!! What is the point in buying physical copies of a game if we are unable to insert, and play.

    Microsoft is destroying the console gaming industry by being absolute imbeciles and disregarding anything anyone from the community says. I know companies like Microsoft only care about money and not their community members but jesus, get some common sense.

    Listen to what the players are saying and try to accommodate for a change. This weekend I had my friend come over to play some Halo, which never happend. The entire weekend was spent waiting for the console to install and update a game, that should at least
    be optional!!!! Why do we need to install games now when we never needed to on the older generation consoles?

    This is why PC gaming is becoming the most popular, because morons are calling the shots in regards to Xbox and its future.

    Hi,

    What game or games does this message pop for? Many Xbox One games have updates specifically for the Xbox X. If your Xbox One game has a 4K assets update for example, you'll be prompted to download this when using the drive on the Xbox One X console.

    The Xbox One S and original Xbox One don't support X-enhancements, so you won't be prompted for that update when using the drive on the One S.

    Thanks for your post! Do you mind clarifying which Xbox device you are using? Are you using Microsoft edge on the Xbox One? Or Internet Explorer on the Xbox 360?
