Xbox one Game, Pure Chess (2016), cannot connect to server for online gaming

Xbox One game call Pure Chess cannot connect to servers to find online matches, randomly. Can Microsoft Xbox fix the matter? Perhaps update the game as well as server to connect better to other future players? It was working to play online with others over 2 years ago, but not anymore. I appreciate a response. Thank you.

You would need to contact the publisher Ripstone to see if they can update the servers.

Pure Chess is decent, but i recommend Chess
Ultra.

This is the best chess game you can get on xbox one:

Chess Ultra

It has tutorial, local and online multiplayer, comes with all sort of puzzles and the graphics are just great.

When I search the Xbox marketplace, it shows up but does not appear to have a download or purchase option. That may mean that it is unavailable for purchase entirely.

Are you using a Xbox One console? If so, Chess Ultra and Pure Chess are possible substitutes. I do not know how they compare but they may be the best options you can get on Xbox One.

If you're on Xbox 360, it appears that Spyglass Chess would be your best alternative.
