Xbox One Game INSIDE still locked out having said its playable at 12.01 on the 29th GMT

Bought the new game from Playdead,called inside Thursday evening the makers of the awesome game Limbo,clearly states on the store that this game can be pre/ordered and downloaded and will be playable at 12.01 GMT on the 29th,we are almost 12 hours past that
and in my library its still greyed out unlike the rest of my games and won't open with the same error messages.....When clicking on the game,for about 1 second it says getting game ready ,then i get the error,we understand you are eager to play the game but
you are to early.

Requested call back from Xbox live service and i was greeted with a complete idiot who said it had nothing to do with them and it was the developer i was to get in touch with,having purchased this from Xbox One i was not expecting such a stupid response
,this has never happened to me before and normally the xbox line service/support has been very good but this phone call and advise takes the cake.

I then proceeded with xbox live chat and got a more sensible lady who says that there is a problem with there service and time zone unlock issues or something along those lines,said they were working on it and she would email me later,i don't get this issue
on the PSN network,games i pre/order and are locked have a countdown timer and are unlocked the minute this expires.

Anyone else having issues unlocking this game based in the UK.

Digital downloads are a flop.

So when it said playable from 12.01 GMT and now its like hours after that covers their ***!

Play Dead, the developers,
clarified yesterday that the game actually unlocks at 10am UTC (11am BST) in all territories, which was about 35 minutes ago, so if you've not tried since then go ahead and launch the game and it should now work.

If you have tried since 11am UK time, power cycle your console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) and try to play it.

Let us know how you get on.

Just done what you suggested,tried game and Hey Presto its working ,many thanks for the advice,i don't know if it was the power/cycle thing or the time zone you suggested but its working.

What is wrong that when you buy/pre/order this product it clearly states its playable at 12.01 GMT on the 29th and this is not the case.

Typically games are playable at 12.01am in each time zone and I think that text is put there somewhat automatically, but this was a specific instance where it was not the case and the game unlocked at the same instance in every country.

Anyway, I'm happy to hear it's working now and hope you enjoy the game.

 

maxen xbox live should have known this like yourself,they should have said when i spoke to them on phone and chat that this game wasn't going to unlock until 11am UK time and not whats stated on there store.

It's now unlocked in all territories.

If you tried the steps above that worked for Trancematic and are still having issues, go ahead and create your own thread and someone will be able to assist you.

Can you make your own new thread and detail the problem and steps taken?

It's easier for us to provide assistance when everyone has their own thread, especially as this one has already been resolved.

 

Already did and support is aware of the issue as they have confirmed it themselves.
