Xbox One Game Downloading.

I have had this issue for over a year now, and have spent countless hours looking online for anything, but have yet to find anything. (It may just be my wording).

My issue is, I can't launch any apps and/or games if something is currently either pending, queued or downloading in the queue. However, I can if they're all paused. I can also, say open any game/app (except YouTube) prior to updating/installing, then go
into my games and apps and start the update and switch back over to what I was doing.

This is highly annoying as I can only pause things in the queue if the item currently downloading has its current download speed. If no download speed is shown, I have to constantly restart my console until it is shown, then press pause all to be able to
launch anything again.

So I have to choose between downloading or playing, which is incredibly frustrating. I hope I've explained it well enough and thanks to all that read this.

More Details:

- I have had this issue for approximately 2 years, over 3 consoles now. (1 Xbox One and 2 Xbox One Xs)

- My internet is 50/20 NBN (Actual speed is 47/16)

- I am currently a Beta-Ring Insider on my current console, but only in the last year. (I imagine this is unrelated, and I have tried opting out and the problem still persists.)

- I do have two accounts with my Xbox set as home (My own and a family members).

I love xbox, dont get me wrong, but it seems if im going to be buying all these games, why does it use so much GB? Will there be larger than 1TB Harddrives?

Will this turn out like 360 Have the White, Black, and Slim? One better than the other? and having the others be outdated?

I had mine and on day one i ran out of harddrive almost (80% used)

I dont mean to complain but will they make 5TB? I Mean im willing to spend upwards of $1000

I just dont want to have to have multiple hard drives

Thanks for the reply! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the console's operating system. I recommend to try a
power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. This will help refresh the console's operating system.

Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox
profiles.

Try this out and let us know the results.

 

Okay, I went straight to the soft factory, as power cycling has never worked for me, and it was resolved.

Apparently that was only me getting my hopes up, as it appears to be a temporary fix. After only 2 days, I already have the problem again. I will add more details to my original question.

 

Hi sorry about issues not heard of this before but maybe try just having your xbox set as home with 1 account then do a reset also maybe remove 1 of the accounts from the Console first then add it again later. Let me know if you try it. Good luck sounds
frustrating.
