Xbox One freezing on menu and games

Hi, my gamertag is Scagz#2702 and recently my xbox has been freezing a lot. Ive already tried possible fixes such as clearing the cache, cleaning the inside of the console and even going as far as to reset my it. Nothing has helped so i thought i would post my situation here to see if anyone has an answer on whats going on and how to fix it.

Hi there Boi welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Try the following!

Press the Bind and Eject buttons, and hold those buttons to keep them pressed. Then, with the Bind and Eject buttons held, press the Xbox button.

Let go the Bind and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone. Thereafter, the Xbox One should start up at the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Then select "Reset and remove everything"!

**EDIT: Another issue that is on and off is that the system runs very slow and laggy while in menus and stuff. So basically when I press join a game mode the screen will freeze and the Xbox seems to "struggle" loading. The screen will freeze during different
menus all the time and such.**

spent a hour with support on this today, full system reset was suggested, have not tried it yet.

they said it's because of maintenance ... it it makes you feel better. I lost about 1 1/2 of building

Have either of you tried to do a full shutdown of the One? Unplug it from the wall socket, reboot and try again.
