Xbox one Freezing and stopping

My Xbox one console keeps freezing and then stopping, it then goes to the start up screen, but it's not all the time, it mostly does it when I play games, can you please help.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this peculiar issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty perplexing but from my experience it usually stems from a poor internet connection.

If you are hardwired in with an open NAT type, then I would recommend a
soft factory reset (keeping your games & apps).

The freezing and stopping happen even when I'm not playing an online game, this happens when I am on a normal game as well, can someone please help with this problem.

It mostly happens with big games and when on playing on line, like ark survival online, the screen just stops and then it goes to the start up screen on the Xbox one, when online i just restart the game again and it works fine again.

My instinct with this is to blame over heating for this. To solve overheating the obvious thing to do is to move the console to a better ventilated environment. However, to get a better idea of the conditions which cause the issue would you be able to provide
further details as to when the issue occurs?

I have tried this method before,a soft and a full factory reset and this only works for a short time, is there a patch or something I can download onto the Xbox itself that could fix this problem as it keeps happening.
