    Xbox one Freeze running?


    Hey first time post and on mobile so sorry for any issues.

    To make this short I’ll get right to the point. I’ve been having an issue for a while where my console will freeze mid-game, but leave the game running as if my controller disconnected. Whatever I am playing will continue to do whatever it is I was doing before the freeze (ex. While playing rainbow six if I’m firing it will continue to fire) even thought my controller is connected. Audio and control cuts but the game runs and acts as if nothing happened.

    At first I thought it was an overheating issue but I’ve taken apart and cleaned all the blockage from the vents. I have an external fan that’s walkways on as well. Does anyone know why this is happening??

    Sorry to hear you are running into these problems. If you keep running into this Crashing issue with the game I would suggest taking a look at the support article for "My
    Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay    " to troubleshoot a little more for this specific issue.

    Let us know if this works!
    it doesn't freeze the game , the fault turns the xbox off immediately

    My copy of Hitman Absolution is freezing at certain points, no scratches and clean - problem with my CD reader?

    Unfortunately you cannot run a game installed to your friends hdd, as it will only run on his xbox.

    Please go through the suggestions listed here:

    It will hopefully resolve your problems.

    HDMI Passthrough issues when using HTPC

    I'm having a similar problem. If I run live TV in Windows media center it works OK. If I drop out of wmc the screen will freeze. There are no issues if I plug the PC directly into my TV. The freezing is completely on the xbox one side.
