    Xbox One Flashes Dim every 30 seconds


    Over the last week or so, I've had an issue where while streaming from Netflix or Disney+ my TV screen will flash dim every 30 seconds or so. It doesn't stay dim, just a flash, and it won't start until ~10-15 minutes into watching something on either
    of those services. This problem also occurs when a program is paused.

    This doesn't happen on other streaming services (Hulu, HBO, Prime Video), so I'm just at a loss at what my next steps should be.

    This has happened before on my console, and a system reset (keeping games & apps) fixed the problem in the past, but not this time.

    I've reset my TV to the factory settings (no change), then reset the Xbox One (again, no change).

    EDIT: I have also changed the idle options to 60 minutes (no change).

    As a follow-up, this issue is also occurring in all of my games. Do we have any more suggestions or ideas?

    Update:

    I turned off 4K and HDR, and this seems to have completely fixed my problem.

    Not the ideal solution, but it worked!

    I am having this issue as well. Its not just streaming apps, its youtube, games and even home screen. It is getting annyoing. I have hard reset, othing works. I have a wires controller conected and even when i unplug the controller it still does
    it.
    Same issues here, too. Netflix is worse with dims every 3-4 seconds. VERY annoying.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Does anyone have a fix?

    I am having this issue as well. Its not just streaming apps, its youtube, games and even home screen. It is getting annyoing. I have hard reset, othing works. I have a wires controller conected and even when i unplug the controller it still does it.

    Thanks for your quick response, Brad. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall both apps, no change in the behavior.

    I also attempted to increase the 'idle' time of my console from 20 minutes to 60 minutes with no change in its behavior. Watching a movie yesterday, I was able to get precisely 60 minutes into streaming before it began again. When I saw it, I exited the
    app, restarted the system, and relaunched the app–now, the flash appears once every few minutes or so.

    I tried to connect my wireless controller, and the same behavior occurs.
