  1. xbox one first time setup - says it is connected, press continue, but doesn't do anything?

Going through first time setup of Xbox One. Connected to wireless network - says "You're Connected" but when I press "Continue" (A button) it doesn't move forward, it just makes a "ding" noise and stays on the same page. I can't find any examples of this
    problem anywhere. Please help!!!

    :)

  2. Can't get through first time setup. Nothing on this site mentions my problem -can't find help!

I have tried setting up my new Xbox One system for weeks with no luck. I have read all the How-To's, FAQ's and guides on this site and elsewhere, nothing I have seen addresses my problem. Simply put:

When I first tried to set it up I selected English as the language, then moved to the Network setup screen, it was able to locate and connect to my WiFi, then on the screen it says "You're Connected!" (all as it should be), but when I press the "A"
but to continue it makes a "ding" noise but it doesn't move to the next screen - it just stays on the network page saying "You're Connected".

My only options are to press 'A' to "Continue" or 'B' to go "Back" to the Language screen. If I do go back to Language then forward again to Network it's the same problem. That is as far as I can get. I can't find anything online about this problem - the
guides always show it moving to the next setup screen after pressing A for Continue.

I posted a question about this a couple weeks ago and someone suggested I reset the xbox and the router:
(try this press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds then unplug the console and the wifi router for 5 minutes. once the 5 minutes are up plug the wifi router back in and wait for it to boot all the way back up. once its
booted back up restart the xbox and try the first time set up again)
. I tried this, but it didn't make any difference - it still "connected" to my wifi and it still wouldn't go past the Network Setup screen.

Should I just get a refund on this thing?

  5. I tried this, but it did not work. When I booted the Xbox up after rebooting the router it didn't give me the option of first time set up. It started up at the Language screen, then when I select English, it moves to the Network screen saying You're Connected.
My only options are A - Select (Continue) and B - Back. When I press A, it goes "ding" but stays on the same page.... Back takes me back to Language - I can't do anything else.

    Problem in forza horizon4 multiplayer

    Hello!

First of all, your NAT is open? If not, press the xbox button > config > network config > multiplayer connection test > at the ending of the test, do not press 'continue', just press LT+LB+RT+RB all in the same time. Later, press continue and restart your
    modem.

If your NAT is already open, I recommend you the console factory reset.

Is there any better alternative? I just don't want to leave it on overnight, and the update is taking forever.
