    Xbox One Fall Update [New Dashboard] Not Downloading


    Hey guys, so I booted up my console today, plugged into Ethernet, Went to Settings> Update console. So I downloaded the first time, and it got to about 35% then shut down. I was expecting it to reboot, but nothing. So I Tried downloading again, same result.

    It loads back into the old dashboard. I was wondering if the offline system update has been update to cover this new update, so If I download OSU1 and attempt to install will this fix it? I have had issues with console updates in the past, and currently
    it is not forcing me to update, but I feel that in a few days I will be unable to sign in, and if I still have these issues it would be bad.

    Is there a fix to this while still downloading online? i.e Clear system cache and retry, just use offline update, etc. I would really prefer not to reset to factory settings in order to update, redownload all my profiles and such.

    Anyone else disappointed by the lack of Gamerpics on Xbox One?

    We will probably get a ton more this Fall when they push out the new dashboard update.

    i will get it.. i dont seewhy not. guess i will have to try and find the update in system as you manually have to download it.

    It looks like the latest update is available to download from Xbox.com as you have not been able to update the console I would first suggest that you follow the

    system update solution     to see if this helps you update your console.

    The Fall 2012 update apparently requires HDCP for all functions, not just video.



    What specific make/model of display are you hooking the 360 up to via HDMI?
