    Xbox One - Every Game Stops Installation at the Exact Same Point, Even After Complete Reset


    At my wits end after days of troubleshooting and infuriatingly finding no way to reach a human support person at Microsoft via either chat or phone.

    I've got an Xbox One that had been working fine until a Forza 4 Horizon update stopped part way and would not finish downloading. At the same time, no other games or updates could be downloaded and installed. Every single one stops at somewhere between 15-70GB of the download. What is interesting is that each game always stops at the exact same spot. For example, Forza 4 Horizon always stops at exactly 12.29GB. I've watched it and it will be downloading at between 90-110Mbps and then as soon as it gets to 12.29GB it immediately drops to zero and never resumes downloading. Cyberpunk 2077 on the other hand gets to around 70GB and Forza 7 just over 30GB. The one consistent piece is that no game ever finishes.

    Games that were installed before the issue and that didn't have updates play fine. All Xbox system updates download and install fine without an issue. I've done extensive troubleshooting on both my network and the Xbox to no avail. I've scoured every post and article talking about these issues and followed the steps for power cycling, switching to internal storage, changing to Google DNS servers, uninstalling games, clearing saved games and more. I've got 650GB free of space on the console and more than 6TB on the external Xbox Seagate drive. My console has a wired connection to a 1Gb line and consistently shows and tests at download speeds of around 90-120Mbps.

    Having exhausted all the other options I could find, I did a complete reset of the Xbox to include erasing games and apps. I then updated it and tried downloading games again only to have them stop at the exact same spots as prior.

    Don't know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I'm having the same exact issue. On two consoles. One X and regular One. No downloads will complete (for several weeks now). Every game stops at the same point. 3.2GB for Rise of Tomb Raider, 11GB for Red Dead. I reset one of the consoles, did all
    the same troubleshooting you did, now have a console that I can't install ANYTHING on. Even a 200MB download will not complete.

    Glad I'm not alone in this, hopefully we can get this resolved!

    0x87e0000f - Installation stopped - All digital downloads

    moved all games to and external and unplugged it, then performed full reset (not keeping games) on the xbox. Left the external unplugged and tried to install one dlc, same error 'installation stopped' at the completion percentage 52.2%. Out of options
    at this point I think. Hopefully there is an xbox update soon, maybe that will resolve it.

    I cant download games it just started happening a day ago idk what to do.

    I am having the same issue. Started on June 20th when I went to update TheHunter Call of the Wild. Thought it was just that game, but it's every game. It'll start to update/download and then stop with the message "Installation Stopped". After a few minutes it'll try again and then stop. I have rebooted several times; reset while keeping games and apps; and even a full factory reset of my Xbox Series X and even reformatted my external drive. Still having the same issue after all that.

    I have exactly the same issue. Every game that requires Admin Approval errors with the same 0x800701e7 error. I have been getting this error with various degrees of success at installing since the first day of game pass.

    I have done all the hoop jumping suggested on reddit and the Microsoft game installation support page, including the Powershell scripts, resetting the windows store, starting and stopping Gaming services and even doing a complete clean reinstall of Windows.

    All this has resulted in me STILL getting the same errors. At this point, even the Epic Store is preferential to the Xbox App and Windows store.

    I have the exact same problem with the same game too, after uninstalling it I can't reinstall it as it constantly says installation stopped, even though I have 700gbs of storage left.
