Xbox One Error Code E305 00000001 80073CFE

On first boot took me to black screen system error screen with this error code. i can't not access ANY thing on my xbox and this is the only screen i get. i can not to the offline steps because i can't get to my system info, and i have already tried unplugging
and replugging everything in and nothings working.

help.

Get a memory stick that will hold a 25MB file (and that you're happy to erase completely). Make sure it's formatted as 'NTFS' rather than the usual FAT. That threw me a little bit, 'cos I'd no idea what it meant. Anyway, it's fairly straightforward and lots
of 'how to' vids online - I use a mac and had to download a free app from Paragon to enable this option via Disk Utility - if you use a PC, I think it's one of your default options. Then, on this xbox website, go to

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool and choose to download the 'restore factory defaults' file. Once downloaded, copy it onto your memory stick.

Next, unplug power from back of XB1 and wait 30 seconds. Plug power back in, insert your memory stick into one of the USB slots in back of XB1 and, while holding the BIND and EJECT buttons at the same time, press the POWER ON button on console (the white
x!). Keeping holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for about 10 seconds until you hear a 'reboot' chime. Release the buttons and you should then hear ANOTHER reboot chime. Then just wait ... the console should spring into life - we got a thin green bar on the
TV screen, showing progress. I think, after a while, the console restarted itself - anyway, the rest is all self-explanatory ... just follow the on-screen instructions. I really hope this works for you ...

By the way, the BIND button is the one 'around the corner' on the left side of the console (apologies if you knew that - I only mention it as I had no idea WTF it was!). Good luck...

I also am experiencing the error code E305 00000001 80073CFE

I followed the unplug and plug back in routine to no success.. i can't go on Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool

because it takes me immediately to the error screen.. and after waiting for over hour + the calling centers closed on me..

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey there Say! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

To start off, here's a few questions for you:

Were you powering your console on from power saving mode or from instant-on mode?
Have you seen this error code before or since?
Have you seen this error code at any other time other than start-up?

My son has the same problem, brand new Xbox one! Turn it on to the green screen for a few seconds then a black screen saying contact Xbox cust service, system error code e305 00000001 80073cfe

Can't do n e thing with the *** thing, tried turning it off, unplugging it but makes no difference, seen the offline dignostic stuff but a pain in the ***, got better things to do Christmas morning, n e one found a solution to this??

There have been a few posts that mention that error code on here, but nobody has posted any solutions to it as far as I can see. If I was you, I'd call Xbox Support and see what they say. It may be that you will need to have the console replaced, but an
advanced replacement shouldn't take too long.
