    This error code generates when the token code you are entering has already been redeemed. I recommend checking account.xbox.com and see if you were able to get that redeemed.

    If your Xbox Live subscription isn't set for a year out, I recommend you contact our chat or phone support agents through our Contact Us page so they can take a look at that

    I have the same problem, error Xbos-0x801613C9 when trying to redeem 12 month prepaid gold membership. I tried everything and it hasn't worked, been at this for over a week now, tried it both on the XBox and on the PC, I get the same error every time.

    I'm very dissapointed with the service...
