    Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller Vibration


    I got this controller brand new just before Christmas, so I waited until after the rush to post this. It seems that the MAIN tumblers do not work in any games, but they do work when turning the paddles on or off, and when I buzz the controller in Settings.
    I've gotten the Trigger tumblers to work in Halo 5 and in Settings, but nowhere else. Is this a hardware issue, or is this a software issue? I updated the controller to the latest firmware before playing anything (which may have been a mistake).

    What controller are you using? Usually you should be able to switch of vibration/change settings within the game itself.

    You can change the settings only on an Xbox by following the instructions here- https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/change-controller-vibration

    If you own an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, you can disable vibrations on a per-controller per-profile basis through the Xbox Accessories app on Windows 10 or Xbox One.

    I have Microsoft TF500004 Xbox One Wireless Controller White I have updated it through Xbox Accessories app as you recommended now I am will check if it is ok after update but still like to know if I can switch off the vibration for this controller ?

    Change controller vibration on Xbox One
    Press the Xbox button to open the Panel, then select System > Settings.
    Select Accessibility > Controller, then select Vibration Settings.
    Choose the controller you want to edit and select Configure.
    For an Elite Xbox controller, select the configuration profile you want to edit. Then Select Edit > Vibrate and move scrollable sliders to adjust vibration settings.
    For the Xbox Wireless controller, select Enable Vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.
