Xbox One elite series 2 replacement request issue

Also, I have noticed that the form is now requesting a 16 digit number with a dash in. This was not on the form earlier today and I cannot find this number.

This number is normally inside of the battery compartment on a regular xbox one controller. However, the Elite series 2 doesn't have a battery compartment and the number isn't written on the back of the controller. I have tried looking on the box as well
as well and still can't find it.

I can't request a call back for some reason. Every option I pick, it says that "Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue" and only lets me pick between "Message with an xbox gamer" and "Post on the forums" which led me here.

I am having a problem with my Xbox One Elite series 2 controller. My RB Button is faulty and when I press it once, every now and again it will do 2 inputs. It has been Impossible to get in contact with any person at Microsoft/Xbox
and after an hour of searching I finally found the request replacement form and when I try to hit Submit it just says "We're sorry, but something went wrong on our end. Please try again later"

I Just want a replacement controller, it is still under warranty and I am getting annoyed at how near impossible it is to actually get help.

I have also had issues with that request form, so I do understand your frustration.

Have you tried https://support.xbox.com/contact-us yet? There, you can request a call-back from a support representative and someone should be able to provide assistance
to you to get this warranty replacement request underway.

This did not work, I also noticed that if I shut off the XBOX One X it disconnects this controller and I have to reconnect it on startup. This does not happen with my other controllers just the Elite series 2 one.. I'll request a replacement

Turns out, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller needed to be replaced.
