Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

Xbox Accesories works pre-anniversary update....you can revert back no problem and it works. BUT HORIZON 3 DOESN'T WORK

 

Happened to me too. Come on MS!! Ridiculous.

 

So after hours and hours of getting the runaround from Microsoft's absolutely worthless support who refused to replace the controller or accept a return, I've decided to return the controller to amazon.

Go pound sand, Microsoft. I'm never buying your hardware again. Worst $140 I've ever spent in my life.

Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit?

 

I had the same problem as everyone in this thread.

I updated the controller with a Xbox One and now it works well on my PC.

 

Is there still no way of resolving this without access to an Xbox One? My controller is stuck in the same state, and I have been unable to find anyone around here who has an Xbox One I can use to unstick it.

Any chance of an update to the Xbox Accessories app to fix this?

I Bought elite controller today, i dont have xbox one and even though i know its working, its vibrating while connected, clearly detected by windows and installing Xbox Elite controller drivers Xbox Accesories doesnt see it!

I've tried uninstalling/installing app drivers many times but it seems that nothing works. Its either message "connect your controller" or this **** "loading" from the picture i upload.

Sometimes when i remove/add app it drops few messages about the controller that you can adjust it, change analogs etc and after going "forward" on all of those it goes back to the screen i upload.

Tried all usb slots and still same

Bought this controller as the "best on the market" to have the option of mapping keys which i cant do because microsoft accessories app doesnt recognize it... I will use that 3rd party just to map it for now and while its free for trial but how is it even
possible to buy premium product and have such problems. And connecting controller to xbox one is not an option for me because i didint buy it for xbox one!

 

Just tried updating my Xbox One Elite controller with Xbox One console with latest updates - no luck, no updates available...

 

OMG, so its not just me.... help?
