Xbox One elite controller constant blinking light and wont connect after disrupted...

Light is constant not blinking.

same issue here on my end. xbox elite controller was updating then it closed out then prompted me to redo the update it finished and orange light kept blinking. tried 3.5mm controller update went through no issue but light still blinking. controllers work
no problem but chatpad still not working. if it helps i did it over wireless on elite and usb with 3.5mm controller. hopefully op has a fix by now not finding anything on youtube about this.

the controller light blinks, the console light does not, but it does not even connect to xbox live, it is as if it were locked.

1. Try to hold on the top of controller small circle, when controller is turned on, light should start blinking faster. While doing that, connect that controller to your Xbox console by cable (do not connect to battery, but to controller itself) the light
should stop blinking and should become stable light). Also you must have original Xbox One controller.

2. If first point did not work, try to contact microsoft support.

3. If you have second controller, try to connect it same way as point 1.
