    This question is a repost for a user from "stupidsamartguy" May 16th 2018 that never got answers or the problem corrected. Are we going to see patch that fixes the issue of children being able to view adult content on their xbox one? Please makes this
    a top priority as it is approaching a YEAR without a fix...

    "to prevent youngsters acsessing inapropriate websites i had internet filtering set to "allow list only".

    as of the last microsoft update microsoft edge can now acsess any website reagrdless of content. nedless to say this is concerning as any adult content can be viewed now when using edge. As i still have it set to "allow list only"it seems edge now ignores
    whatever web filtering setting i set in the setting menu under content restrictions.

    As a result i am now not allowing family members to use my xbox one as, lets face it kids can not be trusted.

    and now i have no control what content they view. to prevent them seeing violent or sexual content or worse online grooming i highly recomend you make this issue a priority."

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. You can report bugs by following these steps :

    1. On your console, install the
      Xbox Insider Hub       app (if you don’t already have it).
    2. Hold down the Xbox button on the controller.
    3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
    4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

    NORE, the problem is not Adult Content being displayed over an Adult Profile. A simple solution is to set up a Child's Account on your Xbox 360 and Filter the appropriate Content in which you see fit.

    Simple answer, an Adult Profile means Adult Content will be available. Child Profile is per the parents request.

    Have you tried rewording and seeing if that helps?

    I agree, I can't see anything wrong there. Perhaps the word adult is a trigger for inappropriate content filter? Adult sometimes refers to pornographic content.
