Xbox One Early Adopter / Year One Celebration gift box email

    Hi there,

Sadly I have not received either of the personalised achievements celebration email, nor the year one celebration gift box email. I have checked my email contact details and preferences, and believe I meet all the requirements to have received at least
    one of these.

Can anyone suggest why, or what I could do to resolve this. I've received a message over Live saying "Thanks for being an Xbox One early adopter. To celebrate Year One, we're.." but no other email with the year one gamerpic, desktop background, etc..

    Kind regards,

    Nick

    :)

    Hey MrVibeee,

    Did you meet the requirements stated here;

*The achievements celebration email will be sent to Xbox One customers who purchased prior to October 1, 2014, in our 13 launch markets who opted in to receive Xbox Marketing emails prior to Nov 11, 2014, are 17 years or older and have 10+ hours of usage
on Xbox One. You can see which email address (if any) you have opted in, by signing in to your Xbox Live account on Xbox.com, clicking your Gamertag in the upper right, then Profile > Privacy Settings > Contact Preferences.

**The Year One Celebration gift box email will be sent to Xbox One customers who purchased the console between 11/22/13 – 11/11/14, in our 13 launch markets, are 17 years or older and have 10+ hours of usage on Xbox One. [/quote]

  3. xbox one year one early adopter.. help

I would also suggest that Limbo may not be the Year One gift, either. You'll note that it is not listed in the "full list of possible gifts" provided at

    news.xbox.com/.../xbox-one-many-thanks-for-one-year

I've heard the theory that the free code for Limbo was sent as a gift to those people participating in the Xbox One Update Preview program. Are you a part of that?

maybe having an issue due to have an AOL email account. Not sure if that is the reason. Maybe that is why I didn't get the free KI email last yr as well< GT Ty2

  6. Don't fret guys;

These are not all being sent out at once. I know some people received this late last night, some early in the morning. I only just received mine myself. If you meet the criteria, you'll receive an e-mail.

Thank you for your email. This mailbox is intended for Xbox One customers who have won a physical gift item. If you are one of these customers congratulations! We’ll be in touch soon to get your contact info to mail your gift.

If you have other questions please see FAQ’s below. Due to the volume of email, we will not be able to reply individually to inquiries. If this hasn’t addressed your question, please contact Xbox Support.

Q: I haven’t received Year One anniversary emails or messages yet.

A: The achievement emails have all been sent out. They were sent to Xbox One customers who purchased prior to October 1, 2014, in our 13 launch markets who opted in to receive Xbox Marketing emails prior to Nov 11, 2014, are 17 years or older and have 10+
hours of usage on Xbox One. To see which email address (if any) you have opted in, sign in to your Xbox Live account on Xbox.com, clicking your Gamertag in the upper right, then Profile > Privacy Settings > Contact Preferences.

For the gift emails and messages, they will continue to be sent all day Saturday, November 22, 2014 and possibly into Sunday morning to Xbox One customers who purchased the console between 11/22/13 – 11/11/14, in our 13 launch markets, are 17 years or older
and have 10+ hours of usage on Xbox One.

Q: Ok, but I AM opted in, fit all the criteria and still didn’t get the achievement email.

A: We apologize for that, but there are a variety of reasons that could have happened, ie: Your mail provider could have bounced the email, it may be in your junk folder, etc.

Q: Is there any way for me to get the achievement mail now?

A: Unfortunately there’s not. But perhaps we’ll do something like this again sometime.

Q: What is being given away in the gift email?

A: You can see the full list of gifts here: news.xbox.com/.../xbox-one-many-thanks-for-one-year

Thank you for using Xbox One.

Xbox One Early Adopter / Year One Celebration gift box email

A lot of people that met those criteria didn't get an email, me included.

11+ years on Xbox, Day One achievement on this account, opted in to everything, receive other marketing emails, not in my spam folder, etc. etc. No gift box, no pictures, no download, no email and no Limbo message either.

Yet I got an email for a secondary account that only has Gold due to the fact it shares it on Xbox One, has probably played 2% of the hours the primary account has and not for 4 or 5 months and has NONE of the marketing boxes checked in the account preferences.
Got a download gift box with all the Year One stuff though and that account barely plays on Live.

Then I am reminded that this is the same company that for over a year sent my Xbox Live Rewards email to an account that was NEVER associated with the game tag that earned the rewards and wouldn't allow me to change it due to a "known system issue", their
words. It was an email account I control but was only ever associated with a game tag I let Gold lapse on before Xbox Rewards ever started, and no, the email didn't go to that account.

Nice that the official response is too bad.....
