    Xbox One E Code Errors and Offline Updates FIXED 28 MAY 2020


    I'll try to keep this brief... After dealing with E200 series errors for two days and another watching every tutorial known to man on YouTube, I decided to replace my hard drive. Tearing the console apart, removing and replacing, and more watching of videos on how to prep the new hardware, I still had the same codes. To make things even worse the "offline" update method was failing to load as well. I concluded that my system was bricked forever. That was until today that I noticed xbox had released another update as 28 May, 2pm PST. I read over the patch notes and no mentions of correcting their mistakes, however I ran upstairs and tried the "offline" update again. Keeping a longer story even shorter. I had be able to muscle through the "offline" update a few times by repetitively selecting the option to "restart" the console only to watch it pop up another error during the 3 of 3 phase. I had to do this about 6-7 times and noticed the third phase was making progress towards completion. Once I was able to began my "initial" setup, I had a feeling this new update was the fix for my problem. IT WAS A SUCCESS! No more bricked xbox one x and everything appears to be stable. I'm hoping this post will help someone else realize its a software issue, not a hardware problem.

    Thanks so much for replying and keeping us updated. The E101 error you're receiving would also require an offline system update as well. You can use our Xbox
    One System Update Solution     to look up any of the "E" error codes received. You may want to attempt the offline system update again as sometimes it takes it a bit to finally go through and use the link provided to troubleshoot any further codes you may
    receive to see if they offer any different solutions.

    Hope this helps a bit more and please let us know the results.

    Thanks for coming back with the update on the steps tried. The repair for the Xbox one X is approximately between $225 and $275 for it. As mentioned before you can go through the device support or call in. Have you tried an

    offline update    ? With the E error codes these are software codes, the factory resets or offline update work most of the time.

    Hello Fernando,

    Sorry for the issue with updating. If you are getting any E error codes. You can follow the update solution posted by WPAK. You may also want to try an offline update, so on first step of guide select picture on right ( I want to update console offline).
    You will need a windows 10 PC and a USB flash drive.
