    Hello. New to this. We are having issues with wifi connection on xbox one. When my phone (Google Pixel 2) is connected to wifi while the xbox is on it will drop/ lag on the xbox. Sometimes drops wifi all together on my phone. The kids are huge into
    Fortnite and having major issues with that freezing while my phone is connected to wifi. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Dropping WiFi settings

    For the last two weeks my Xbox One S keeps dropping my WiFi when it starts up. Then I have to go in, find my router and enter the password. Was there something in an update that I missed because I have never had this issue before?

    Microsoft said issue when testing was Packet Loss. It was at 1%. After entering DNS, it's been consistently at 0% and after playing 2 games, have not had an issue. Might need still have an issue during the day, when the drops are the worst.

    Working with Technical Support. They had us enter DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Will see if that works and will let you know.

    I would contact your ISP and ask for tech support on changing the channels on your wifi. If, you already know how then try that maybe. There's a few mobile apps that can help you find a good channel. In my neighborhood I have to find a channel used the
    less to get good signals Since we all live bso close together.
