Discus and support Xbox One Dolby & DTS through Optical No Longer Working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Since the last couple of updates Dolby and DTS have stopped working (no sound at all when Bitstream is selected) throug my Xbox One Optical connection....     Xbox One Dolby & DTS through Optical No Longer Working


    Since the last couple of updates Dolby and DTS have stopped working (no sound at all when Bitstream is selected) throug my Xbox One Optical connection. Stereo still works fine through Optical but not bitstream.

    Can anyone offer any advice please.

    Audio Dropouts on games and netflix, caused by dolby digital plus? HELP!

    Optical cannot carry Dolby Digital Plus, and as such the Xbox One does not output Dolby Digital Plus over optical. Your problem lies elsewhere. What audio setting are you using on the Xbox One? Have you tried DTS or a new optical cable?

    And also, there are a good number of Home Thearer setups that do not support HDMI in. Only 5.1 Dolby or DTS through optical.

    Surround Sound on TV Pass Through Still Not Working?!?!?

    Optical for audio doesn't work for me. When I watch Blu-rays and play games with better than Dolby Digital Sound (DTS-MA or Dolby TrueHD), optical can't send those.

    Anyone figured out a clever way to make surround sound pass through from their cable box work normally, or is this just a deal breaker?

    Dolby Digital & Dolby DTS 5.1 & 7.1 hdmi & optical support are going to be added in the March 9th update. I'm previewing the new update right now on my XB1 and Im now running Dolby Digital & DTS through my receiver and Turtle Beaches
