    Xbox One doesn’t light up besides start up sound


    Hi my xbox one doesn’t turn on besides the start up sound I have tried everything from unplugging it for ten seconds and i even unplugged everything and basically reinstalled it. Is there anything I can do besides getting a new console?

    No start up sound?

    It is probably a mechanical fault. If it is still under warranty i recommend keeping it for a week and see if the sound starts to play and if it doesn't return it to the store you purchased it from. They would be required to refund / replace the Xbox if
    it is a mechanical fault not caused by you. If it isn't under warranty i recommend find a local repair shop and getting the to have a yonder at it.

    Are you sure you’re using the Xbox one version of the portal? It may light up because it’s getting power over USB, but that doesn’t mean that the system is recognizing it

    The only light that comes on is the orange light on the power supply it doesn’t even power up to the tv
