    Hi Experts,

    I have Xbox one, configured to be in region India (Asia), were wifi channel 13 is supported (2.4ghz). But why is my xbox not able to detect my wifi network on this channel? If I configure different channel it works!

    Moreover all other devices like Windows PC, MAC, Andriod mobile, Smart TV etc all detect and connect to this channel except Xbox one!! Any help appreciated.

    Xbox does not detect Wifi

    That option does not exist, the only options I have under Advanced Settings are 'Specify Unlisted Network' and 'Create Ad-Hoc Network'. To that end, I've tried entering my SSID manually under 'Specify Unlisted Network' and I still get nothing.

    Good evening, I'm not sure if this issue has been dealt with or not so I'm going to ask it anyway. I've recently had issues with my Xbox 360 S refusing to detect my wifi signal. I'm using a 4th-gen Apple Airport Extreme and currently have my all of my
    other devices connecting to it just fine (Playstation 3, iPhone 4, iPad, MacBook Pro, Apple TV 2nd Gen and my Samsung television. I have tried everything I can think of including resetting my Airport, but the Xbox continues to act like my wireless signal
    does not exist at all. Yet, I can pick up neighboring wifi signals (I have not tried to connect to them as they are secured). Is there a way to reset the network settings on the 360 at all?

    xbox one hardware problem

    Hello,

    all of a sudden, my XBox also didn't see my Wifi any more Other WIFI networks it detected. Repeated reset of XBox and Router didn't help.

    Then I started WiFi Analyzer on the PC. The router was on auto-channel and had picked 2.4GHz channel 13. As I live in Europe that's fine. However, we moved from the US and only recently changed the region for the XBox from USA. In North America, 2.4GHz only
    has channels 1-11. After I fixed the WIFI-channel of the router to 11, by magic the XBox could connect again.

    ==> The XBox probably was still on the US channel scheme

    Just wanted to clarify again that my Xbox detect every other Wifi network, but does not detect a mobile hotspot wifi.

    This is weird ?

    Does your home network have different wifi channels?

    If so your Xbox may be connected to one, and your other devices a different channel.

    Also try restarting your modem if you haven't already.

    You may have to plug in an ethernet cable first just so it allows you to configure a wired network. The option should then exist under wired network, configure, and then additional settings to the right by using your d-pad.
