Discus and support Xbox One display to chromecast? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is it possible to send the display from Xbox One to chromecast? Essentially.     Is it possible to send the display from Xbox One to chromecast?

    Essentially. I'd like to be able to stream my gaming through chromecast onto another tv in the house, without having to move my Xbox One.

    Chromecast and Xbox One do not get along on an automatic switch - at least they didn't for me. I had a blu-ray player & Chromecast on the switch with no problems, but the One will not get along with my Chromecast. :(

    @LTA Soldier - That would definitely be a good feature to have. An "only stream game clips on Wi-Fi" option would solve that.

    The YouTube app on the Xbox One does casting, which is pretty cool. It works the same way as the Chromecast. I agree with the OP though. It would be cool if you could display photos and videos on your TV via your phone through the Xbox One.

    Thank you Josef for your response and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

    here's what I did and the results:

    1. plugged AVR HDMI output directly into PC monitor. - I see all video, Xbox and Chromecast @ 1080p

    2. plugged HDMI cable coming out of ceiling into PC monitor - No video except when I go to AVR setting menu. and even then it comes on and gradually "flickers" out with monitor message saying "no cable connected", meaning no input detected. Then repeats the cycle. XBOX or Chromecast video signal is not displayed at all. this is different from when connected to projector. the chromecast works there.

    3. Did the power cycle as you suggested with no change in above results.

    So, thus far, I have replaced every HDMI cable involved and switched to using every AVR input to see if I can get projector to display the XBOX. nothing works at 1080p. only at 720p.

    Xbox One needs to add Google Chrome on the Dashboard not IE

    The 1st thing ill be doing is seeing if Chromecast works on the HDMI in port on my xbox one.
