    Xbox One disc drive problems


    Hello, trying to get some help here.

    Ive had my Xbox One since 29. November, Ordered it from Germany-> Norway where I live.

    My problem are; I cant play a single DVD/Blu-Ray (wont read, gives me a message like "Cant play this, put in a Music, movie, blu-ray disc"), Talked to a "agent" from microsoft who gave me some steps to do (to see if that helped), those steps didnt work and
    she recomended me to return it for a new console.

    Shall I talk to Microsoft Germany or Microsoft Norway? and please say you got a support mail (since I HATE talking in the phone)?

    If you got any tips how to solve this problem without sending it in please share it =)

    Disc drives malfunctioning in Xbox One units

    I just read an article that says Microsoft is acknowledging faulty disc drives in some Xbox One units. Some people are having a problem with the drive making a grinding noise and not reading the disc, so if you have this problem, you're not alone!

    Are things getting better for the xb1?

    I haven't heard anyone else having disc drive problems with their Xbox One's since Mid-2014, so yes Microsoft fixed these disc drive problems.

    it is absolutely not the disc drive as it is only the one instance where this has happened, also i was told by someone from microsoft live chat to contact the developer, which is 343i, they dont have a direct contact, only halo waypoint, which the post i made
    there was a useless as this one.

    There's no disc drive problem with the XBox ONE.

    Hi Hank! Are they digital or disc games? If disc, does the Xbox One play other DVDs okay? If not, it could be a problem with your disc drive. :/

    Clear your cache in settings under blu ray?
    Its not the disc drive I have xbox one game disc that work fine.
