Xbox One data recovery questions

About 3 months ago my 3ish year old Xbox One S unexpectedly broke. After taking it to 2 different repair places in town, and over 2 months of waiting, I was told that the logic board (motherboard) was manufactured incorrectly and could not be repaired (or
it would cost well over $500). I mainly play offline so my games almost never sync, so when it broke and I had only been playing on my Xbox for a little over a year, I was still looking into external hard drives.

Because my synced data is very outdated, I didn't have time to find a good external hard drive, and since the hard drive is still functional, I was wondering if there was any way to retrieve my data from my broken console or anything else I might be able
to do?

I also was wondering if it would be possible to use a PC as a "middleman" to transfer my data between my broken Xbox One S and an external hard drive, or potentially another Xbox One S?

P.S. I did do research and know that hard drives cannot be swapped out (due to compatibility and coding) and data cannot be transferred to a PC.

On your data is gone, it is not recoverable. Without the source Xbox working to transfer the data there’s nothing you can do. My recommendation to you is that you play online at all times, even if you’re not playing multiplayer games, that way your data
is protected. I realize some peoples bandwidth caps make this impractical

Is there any way to transfer the data from Xbox live, for example, achievements, games, to another email, this account is only for Xbox use, I tried in many ways to recover, recovery requires answering more questions, and because it’s just an Xbox account
the answers are insufficient for recovery, I didn’t want to lose my 18,850 achievements, what a sadness

Game saves are stored both on the console and the Cloud for the Xbox One. If you have an Xbox One and have done a factory reset then you can easily recover your game save by starting the game and allowing it to sync.

If you have a console still connected to the Internet, the game data is stored on the cloud, that is your profile and save. If you restart the console or give it to the factory default settings, these data are synchronized when you start the game and you
can continue where you left off. But if you do not have a console connected to the Internet, you have lost the game data forever.
