Xbox one dashboard speed

    Xbox one dashboard speed


    The dashboard has not improved at all with the new xbox one x. It is still very slow and freezes often. Can you please update it?

    After 3 months of owning X1 I am extremely happy I got one.

    Your point about suspend when you turn the console off is rendered irrelevant when you think that the PS4 turns on quicker.

    PS4 vs. Xbox One speed test results

    •Cold boot to main dashboard –

    PS4: 20 seconds — Xbox One: 1 minute 5 seconds

    •Standby/hibernate to dashboard –

    PS4: 3 seconds — Xbox One: 12 seconds

    Frustratingly slow dashboard

    Hi, I'd recommend leaving this feedback for Xbox at Xbox Ideas, the official feedback site for Xbox: https://xboxideas.uservoice.com/

    I do have one possible recommendation- press the main button to open the guide, then go to Settings > Personalization > Theme & Motion > Uncheck Smooth Transitions. This will disable animations but might help increase your dashboard speed. Your internet
    connection is also a factor that affects the dashboard speed.

    New dashboard for xbox one in 2019?

    It needs to be done to clean the Xbox itself when it shuts down or reboots. Make the Dashboard not so much memory. This could permanently speed up Dashboard commands.

    Does the game say 'Installing' on the Xbox dashboard?

    All Xbox One games need to be fully installed first before they can be played. If there was a propmpt for an update, your download speed from your ISP will determine how long this takes.
