Xbox one dashboard/home screen slow.

My xbox one dashboard is slow. It's typically slow when I close an app, game or open the store menu (it's usually a 2-3 second delay moving around the menus. As well as loading menu icons/pictures). It started a few weeks after the new dashboard was released.
Im not a part of the preview program (I was, but that was befor the lated dashboard was released to preview members). I've tried a hard reset (only seems to be a temporary solution), I haven't tried a factory reset yet, but I will sometime later this week.

I typically spend most of my time using Microsoft edge. (Thats slow as well, not sure if it is related)

Is anyone else's console slow, or have experienced this? If so, were you able to speed it up.

new dashboard

The new dashboard is ugly and slow.(Even uglier then the previous dashboard which I didn't know was possible.) Getting to the home screen is a pita now as well, the xbox button should be used for quick access to the home screen not to that clunky side menu.
These changes didn't improve anything.

"Black Screen Of Death " ? I turned around and the screen was black but when the home button is pressed - the dashboard still comes up . Very slow responses . Still will not let me do anything SOSOSOS PLZ SEND HELP WHAT IS HAPPENING

You should see a claim your gift notification either on the home screen, or game pass tab. I would check every where on the dashboard, becuase I found mine in one of the little square notifications on the top of the dashboard home screen.

My Xbox is doing the same thing. It is slow to load the home screen, slow to load apps, slow to load games. Even when I turn it on now it is super slow to come on. This new update looks great, but something has got to be fixed. My xbox has never been this
slow to respond.
