Xbox one controllers are junk

They are the most poorly made items on this earth! The original xbox controllers were the best of the best you could run em over with a truck and they'd still work. But my god the thumb stick mechanism is so cheaply assembled using the lightest weight
chincey plastic it's ridiculous! Stop trying to save 10 cents on each controller and use some durable material. Absolutely Ridiculous. Oh and the knee slapper is the elite controllers have the same construction cmon man.

Still have my day one controller working fine. I have had problems with the elite but had those replaced under warranty service

I have had no problems at all with my controllers. All of my controllers still work great.

They could be a bit slimmer, or have more stick drift resistance, but hey they have a nice grip.

They are other brands of controllers specifically designed to use on a Xbox One if you do not like the Microsoft branded ones. You may have better luck with one of those instead. PDP, Razer, Afterglow are a few brands you might have better luck with.

Over the course of almost 6 years none of my controllers have really had issues. I have a "Day One 2013" controller, a black 3.5mm headphone jack controller, the Master Chief controller, a "Project Scorpio" controller, the Gears 4 Elite and a black Elite
controller. The only problem I had was with my Gears 4 Elite controller with the back grip coming off. Other than that they all still work perfectly with 1,000s of hours of use (minus the Project Scorpio cause I don't want to use it). As for 360 I have roughly
10-12 different Official Microsoft themed controllers and 3 different 360's, including a day one model. That model didn't Red Ring until 2011, after being used almost everyday for 5 years. My OG Xbox still uses both the Duke and S model controllers that haven't
broke yet.

But as for someone who has dropped, stepped on, threw and slammed down multiple controllers over the years with not only Xbox, but Sony and Nintendo too. None of my stuff has broke or fell apart.
