    Xbox one controller working on Xcloud in browser, but not in the app.


    I'm using a standard xbox one controller over USB on PC and it works for Xcloud on the browser but when I try to use Xcloud in the app it just doesn't work, I can't figure out why, the app says it detects it but once the game loads none of the buttons do anything. Sucks because the browser version of Xcloud is garbage but I wanted to see if the app version worked better.

    Why does my Xbox controller not work on the cloud gaming on the xbox app on my pc?

    I had the same issue. The controller worked for navigating through Xbox app. but when a Xcloud game is launched, the inputs stopped working. I force stopped Xbox app and unpaired controller and removed it from Bluetooth devices. After reconnecting, the controller is working in Xcloud games. Hopefully it will fix your problem too. And it is for sure that this error is of Xbox app.

    I've seen user comments using the controller in the Xbox app on the phone, maybe your controller works with xCloud there.

    There is no error code, it simply tells me to subscribe to Ultimate even though I already have.
