    Xbox one controller with headset.


    I've had my Xbox one with the same controllers and headset for two years exactly now. Suddenly my Xbox one controllers die after a minute or two from plugging in my turtle beaches. When they aren't plugged in they are fine and last their full battery. Is
    it the controllers or the headset that's broken? Is there a way to fix them?

    How do we update the controller? NO USB Cable comes with Xbox One.

    About updating controller, To use the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter with your Xbox One Console, you’ll need to update your Xbox One Controller with the latest software to support the Adapter.

    This is from:
    support.xbox.com/.../update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter

    So Titanfall controller update is done by over air, no cable, (February update) and Stereo Headset Adapter controller update you need an cable, which comes with the adapter (March update).

    If the problem persists:

    • Try your Xbox One Stereo Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working. If not, the headset will need to be replaced.
    • Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
      updating the first controller again.
      If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
      Xbox Online Service Center.
