    XBOX ONE controller will not work on Windows 10 PC


    I'm trying to play a game on my Windows 10 computer with my XBOX ONE controller. I plug the USB cable into my PC, plug in my controller and the home button flashes but doesn't turn on.

    What I have tried:

    -Restarted the computer (both with and without the cable plugged in prior)

    -Tried to find drivers for my controller (however it needs the controller to be recognized but won't even connect in the first place)

    -Did extensive research on this issue

    -Tried to find the NVIDIA Wireless Controller Service to disable (but conveniently cannot be found on my computer and NVIDIA has done nothing about this known issue)

    (P.S. I am EXTREMELY ticked as this is my ONE day off and I spend the entire day finding a way to fix a VERY well known issue, so I'm understandably upset)

    I have tried the controller on another computer and it worked perfectly find. I tried another controller on this computer and still had the same issue. I would sincerely appreciate any help on this manner, as I am so sick and tired of having to deal with either
    5 hour updates, bugs, glitches or issues that prevent me from playing games, both on XBOX, Steam, Origin and Xbox 360.

    Would someone be able to help me out please?

    I have a pair of really good quality Logitech headphones that come with a USB cable very similar to the official XBOX cable that I have. I decided to use this, as I had tried everything else, and surprisingly it worked! The Xbox USB charges and works just fine
    on the console, however this Logitech headphone USB makes the XBOX controller work with the PC.

    How odd.

    controller work when it is connected to your PC through the USB port? Also, if you haven't already done so, may I suggest double checking "How
