XBox One controller vibration can't be turned off when connected via bluetooth to PC

    Hi,

I have seen this issue before but no answer to it: I have an XBOX One controller that I pair via Bluetooth to my Microsoft Surface Go. I have installed Xbox accessories app but when connected via bluetooth all I can do is run button tests (which work fine).

If I connect the controller via USB cable I am then able to configure, turn off rumble, save as a new profile (doesn't seem to let me edit the default), and set as Slot1. All looks great until I un-plug the cable to the controller (since why use a cable
when the bluetooth connection works so nicely, plus the Surface Go has only one USB-C port). The controller is no longer paired as a bluetooth device, weirdly. Okay, so I re-pair it. Ahh, looks like it isn't using the new profile and rumble is turned on. Arrgghh,
    vicious cycle.

Please can someone fix this as it is really annoying.

    Kind regards,

    Neil

    :)

Xbox series gamepad constantly disconnecting from bluetooth. PC Windows 11

Ok. So Fix bluetooth problems usually works for a while. But when I connect PC xbox controller via USB (older one, doesn't have bluetooth), the one which connected via Bluetooth keeps turning off every minute. And doesn't turn on itself, as it usually happens.

Xbox One controller turn off when I press the bluetooth button (PC and Steam Link)

Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.

    1. Well, I have a Surface Go, but from other similar questions, it appears that other PC users have had same issues.

    2. Xbox one controller over Bluetooth. Would be interesting to see if xbrf wireless xbox one suffers same issue.

    3. Probably specific to small number of users that are using Bluetooth connection between Xbox one controller and PC and that are wanting to turn off vibration (probably because of in-game issues).

    4. Lack of awareness or interest. It is usually possible to get around. In fact i have bypassed the issue by finding the setting in Borderlands 3 to turn off vibration. :)

Still, shame Microsoft haven't fixed xbox accessories app.

    Unanswered remains:

    1. Do only Surface Pro users have a problem?
    2. Do only XBOX Controller users have a problem?
    3. Only users who use both products have a Problem?
    4. Why has this problem not been resolved for years?

Don't think i have seen that one but i have been hitting a bug in Borderlands 3: when firing a rapid-fire weapon for more than short bursts the controller vibration appears to cause me to lose control, with the aim point swinging wildly down or up, with
no way to control. No, not just sure to handling, it is crazily out of control. One boss that caused constant rumbling triggered this issue. Luckily I was co-op and my brother dealt with the boss. :)
