Xbox One Controller USB Port Broken

Hello I am new to the forum. I have been a longtime Xbox gamer (Had Xbox, 360, and now Xbox One).

I have also started to play on PC, however, I still use the Xbox one controller.

Over the past 18 months I have purchased 4 brand new Xbox One controllers, I play on PC and connect with a USB cable. Despite me caring for the controllers carefully the USB ports on all 4 controllers have failed. It starts with DC'ing when not pressured
in a certain direction, and degrades to zero connection whatsoever. I have spent over $200 USD in under a year just to be able to play games with your controller. I am extremely disappointed in how fragile these controllers are.

I cannot connect via bluetooth because it has occasional small DC's that freeze the game I most frequently play.

Do others have issues with this as well? I am not willing to spend another $50+ on a controller when the last one broke in under two months.

Maybe the problem is not the controller but the PC that you're playing with verified what problems the PC has to solve this.

I know that it is not the PC, I regularly connect other devices via USB with zero issue. Also as I said, there is a gradual degradation of the USB connection that can initially be fixed by pressing the connector into place with force.

I have tried with multiple USB cables across multiple devices, the problem is with the controllers. You can see the USB connection port become visibly loose within its housing.

Maybe the problem is not the controller but the PC that you're playing with verified what problems the PC has to solve this.
