    Xbox One controller suddently started disconnecting all the time


    I have an Xbox one and two standard wireless controllers.

    Two days ago my controller suddently started disconnecting all the time. I thought it was the battery so i changed, but the problem continued. I tested the other controller and had the same problem.

    Then I tried all the suggestions given on this thread (turn off/on, resync controller, soft reset, etc.) and also did not help, except that the controller does work if plugged with the usb cable. But since it is a wireless controller I expected to keep using it that way, however the final solution of that thread was to keep the controller plugged in on a 3-meter cable.

    Was anyone able to solve that?

    I indeed did update the controller, and it still disconnected time to time. And actually now that I think about it, both the controller that I just bought, and the controller that came with the xbox just recently started disconnecting time to time.

    Yup this is happening to me regularly and it's irritating to the point where it's messing up games. I'll try and escalate this through Microsoft.
