Xbox one controller spamming buttons I press

Yes i thought that would have been the problem but my controller is up to date and even tried to update anyway no luck

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

When creating a Service Order for an accessory, if you device is in warranty [which you can check via

thislink] you will be prompted with the ability to replace the accessory at no cost for the actual device.

Since accessories are replaced for a new device altogether, if your device is not in warranty, you will be unable to create a new device as you will be referred to purchase a new one.

I hope this is able to clear up any confusion this might have caused.

After recently connecting my xbox one controller to my laptop using bluetooth when connecting it back to my xbox i realised everytime i pressed any button it would spam whatever button i pressed until i released it

I’ve tried unplugging my xbox for 5 minutes, updating the firmware of the controller, using a usb cable and re syncing it to the xbox and it persists when going into configure controller it shows that the start button is pressed and after realising this
i cant use my start button

What can i do?

Sounds like it need fixxing. Hope ita under the warrenty

Yeah i don't know myself if its warranted or not but let's hope for the best
