Xbox one controller(s) meltdown

both of my xbox one controllers when plugged into a usb smoked, smelled of melted plastic and will no longer turn on at all, except for 1 or 2 quick light blinks from the center x button? What do i do or where do i send them? 2nd part of my question-And
my xbox one keeps making a noise as it freezes, then shuts down . Ive checked my settings to make sure it wasnt that. Is it over heating? I tried running a small fan for extra air but it didnt change anything. Its an xbox one s (white) controllers are mymore
urgent problems i cant play without them and if i dont have to spend 140.00$ on new controllers that would be great

Only controllers where the things that smoked and smelled like meltedplastic there def toast. Xbox itself will run for 3-4 hrs max but will freeze and shut down randomly.

Haven't had to do it myself but this thread might help - it has a few ways to contact official Microsoft device repair.

Alternatively, you could try for a third party repair.

As for the smell and the noise and shutting down it definitely sounds like overheating, but something could have just broken inside. Either way, a fan won't help. It'll likely need repairing, if possible. I wouldn't start it up again until someone has had
a look at it.

Maybe MS is in meltdown with problem occurred with the One ?

On my original 360, I used a fan type thing that plugged into the back of the 360 that I bought from GameStop. That thing sucked, always causing the dredded rrod on my system.

using external coolers will cause some Xboxes to alter the settings on their internal fans. when that gets detected by MS xbox live.... good luck getting them to believe your xbox was not hacked. also, it voids the warranty on your xbox as well
